The Oldham County Sheriff’s Office participates in TRIAD, a program aimed at supporting the Senior Community in areas of fraud, crime prevention, domestic violence, and advocacy. The Sheriff’s Office is also involved in Project Graduation. This program provides Deputies on-site at graduation events using portable breath testers and assists school officials in keeping alcohol out of school functions at no cost to county schools. The Sheriff’s Office has been involved in this project for several years. In addition, the Sheriff’s Office is working with a citizens group called Challengers, constantly working on new ways to introduce alcohol prevention awareness to parents and students alike, and at an early age. Recently assisting by implementing a slogan “Provide alcohol to minors and we’ll provide the chaser”.
