The patrol division of the Oldham County Sheriff’s Office is currently under the command of Chief Deputy Robert C. Noble.  The patrol division is the most visible part of the Oldham County Sheriff’s Office.  These Deputies are responsible for patrolling Oldham County’s 189.21 square miles. 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The deputies assigned to the patrol division provide top-quality professional law enforcement.  In addition to basic community patrol, they perform a variety of duties, including:

  • Investigations of minor crimes
  • Preliminary investigations of more serious crimes
  • Routine traffic patrol and traffic law enforcement
  • Accident investigations
  • Transportation of prisoners to jails, prisons, hospitals, and other facilities
  • Extradition of fugitives from justice
  • Service of arrest warrants
  • Civil process and enforcement of court orders
